West Coast Scotland 2023
The 4th Old Man Baz Golf Society tour. Four course event playing, Lochgreen, Kilmarnock Brassie, Dundonald Links, Turnberry - Robert the Bruce, another 4 great courses, some epic scoring, and plenty of hilarious banter, loses and wins at the races, singing TOTO's Africa to some party goes (you know who you are), and what is the most unusual thing you pull out of your golf bag, pepper corn 7 (what was I reading), soft porn novel (you know who you are), very confused Scottish golfers on crazy trouser day, a backup phone (again what was I thinking), and how do you wipe your arse (I suspect the jury is still out on this subject)

Day 1
Lochgreen was the first of the courses on offer which in terms of quality was a challenging first outing the weather as per usual for Scotland was epical wet, so bad that one phone got so wet I needed a back up (it never recovered). As for the golf the weather didn't hamper certain players, well played Sammy great score of 42 points putting you in prime position going into the rest of the weekend.

Day 2
So the day we've all been building up to crazy trouser day and gents you didn't disappoint, god knows why or how we where aloud to play, Kilmarnock Brassie golf club looking like this but we defiantly made an impression on the locals, congrats to Smithy for winning the day in his MC Hammer pants, god knows where he found them. The trousers must have inspired some of us as the scores where epic on a difficult course, well played Willow, Smithy and Sammy nice scores for day 2.

Day 3
In my opinion day 3 and Dundonald links was the best course of the 4 we played this weekend, and with all to play for, with only 9 points between 5th and 1st place with Sammy having a 3 point lead, but Smithy, Willow, H and Baz not far behind. The course was long and well manicured, but with a few well placed traps along the way to trip us all up but Willow was to canny to the course with an epic 43 points and plenty of 4 for 4's and takes the overall lead by 1 point. Smithy's caddie couldn't help in taking the lead, all to play for going into day 4.

Ayrshire Gold Cup
With a much needed afternoon off from the golf the Ayrshire gold cup races awaited and the chance to take home some winnings, a very profitable afternoon for some.

Day 4
Day 4 and Trump Turnberry with all its history and the iconic players that had walked its haloed halls and fairways and any golfer who knows there history would be in ore of all the trophies, memorabilia in the stunning club house awaited us all.
The weather was also going to play a big part in the points to be had, the leader board has become a two horse race with only 1 point separating Willow and Sammy, who would tame the unprotected fairways and win against the weather that has hampered us all this weekend.
Smithy you gave it a good go with an impressive 37 points but just not good enough.
The 4th Old Man Baz Golf Society tour was won by a very good score considering the weather goes to Willow with 148 points.
