Lauro Golf
A Field to Enjoy

Nestled in a special natural setting, Lauro Golf Resort was born, which currently has 27 holes, combinable nine by nine, all par 72. From the beginning, the design of the complex is based on respect for the environment and the nature that surrounds us , not only safeguarding the life of each and every one of the pre-existing century-old oak trees, but also with the planting of thousands of young trees, most of them native to Andalusia.

Lauro Golf is full of nature . Throughout the complex, contact with nature is constant, whether playing golf, living in the residential complex or simply enjoying a walk through the surroundings, we can see that we are not the only visitors to Lauro Golf. Rabbits, ducks, partridges, herons and even eagles will accompany us for much of the journey, as they have decided to be our neighbours, benefiting from the micro-climate created by the large number of trees and the fourteen lakes on the golf course.

The course was designed by the late Folco Nardi to be technical, but not difficult. Good concentration and the correct choice of club to play with will lead to a good score. The extension of holes 19 to 27, designed by Mariano Benítez, has followed this same trend of a course that requires concentration and skill, completing the entire course. The course can be played on foot due to its moderately flat nature, although there are two holes located on the side of the mountain that give us an exceptional view of the Guadalhorce valley and the Mediterranean.

The clubhouse is located in an old Andalusian building, Cortijo el Paredón , which has an excellent restaurant service, changing rooms, shop and office. In addition, there is a swimming pool, paddle tennis school, horse riding and bowling club nearby. But the best thing about the farmhouse is its fabulous patio, in the shade of a huge century-old ficus tree, where the player can relax after a good round of golf.
